Tour Description
The first stop will be made at the distillery of a local specialty, Koum Kouat. There you will enjoy a guided visit, learn lot of the production of Koum Kouat, have a liqueur tasting and for those you wish, you can buy local products made by this rare small fruit.
Your next stop will be famous Paleokastritsa which is also known as “Corfu’s Capri”: a natural harbor with a sandy beach that is entirely protected by a rocky cliff. According to mythology, Ulysses was shipwrecked here and arrived at this bay, where he met Nausica.
You will stop briefly at the Monastery of the Holy Virgin and have some free time at the Paleokastritsa beach where optionally you can have a boat trip and explore the caves or just enjoy swimming at its crystal clear blue-green sea water.
Driving to Makrades, you will stop at the picturesque Lakones Village where you will have the chance to admire the amazing view of the Adriatic Sea while taking photos. You will enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant offering Greek specialties at Makrades Village.

- Virgin Mary Monastery - no shorts, skirts and hat. Shoulders should be covered
- Guests in a foldable wheelchair can take part in this tour though there will be limitations in visiting Virgin Mary Monastery where is required climbing 15 steps
- There are cobblestones in old Corfu Town
